The Civil Protection and Forest Defence Service (SPCDF) of the municipality of Lagos will officially conclude the first phase of the Lagos PMDA through this initiative, which will take place on 10 March at 10am in the Paços do Concelho Séc. XXI Auditorium.
The session will include speeches by the Mayor of Lagos and the Municipal Civil Protection Coordinator, as well as the presence of seven organisations involved: the Júlio Dantas and Gil Eanes school groups, the Public Security Police (Polícia de Segurança Publica), the National Republican Guard, the Municipal Police, the Maritime Police and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lagos. In addition to this presentation and framing of the PMDAE, vehicles from the member security and rescue forces will also be on display in Praça do Infante for the official handover of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) equipment.

The Lagos PMDAE is an initiative of the municipality of Lagos that aims to improve the response to emergency situations, namely in cases of cardiac arrest (CRA), promoting the safety and well-being of the population. Its main objective is to install AEDs in strategic locations and to train operatives who can use them effectively, with a view to ensuring the safety of the population.
