The parishes of Portimão and Alvor will be responsible for the works

The Municipality of Portimão recently signed inter-administrative contracts with the Parish Councils of Alvor and Portimão, allocating a total of €446,086.49 for the refurbishment and improvement of various playgrounds and leisure parks. Specifically, the contract with the Parish Council of Alvor, which amounts to €177,015.86, will fund major renovations for playgrounds and leisure parks in the Má Partilha and Mar e Serra neighborhoods.

In addition, the contract with the Parish Council of Portimão, totaling €269,070.63, will benefit playgrounds and leisure parks in the Quinta da Ouriva – Ladeira do Vau and Quinta da Bemposta neighborhoods. Furthermore, under these contracts, the parish councils will now initiate procedures for executing the works. This process will also involve installing timed faucets in several locations, including the Pedra Mourinha, Coca Maravilhas, Má Partilha, Fojo, Major David Neto, and Chão das Donas kindergartens, as well as in the Pedra Mourinha, Coca Maravilhas, Pontal, Vendas, Major David Neto, and Chão das Donas elementary schools, along with the Alvor and Montes de Alvor kindergartens and elementary schools.
