As part of the ongoing commitment to administrative modernisation, digitalisation, and the dematerialisation of procedures for greater resident convenience, the Portimão City Council has made it possible, since 14 August 2026, to register online for citizen participation in Council Meetings.
Through a dedicated form, prior registration for speaking during the period allotted to citizens is now available, limited to 10 people, with each intervention lasting a maximum of 3 minutes.
Registrations close 24 hours before the start of the respective Ordinary Council Meeting and are validated by the Administrative Unit responsible for their management; residents will receive an email confirming their registration.
