A Resounding Success at the Second Business Networking Event
Tomorrow magazine, alongside partners Kinoah and GC Partners, is delighted to report on the overwhelming success of our second Empowering Women in Business event held recently at the stunning Kinoah venue in Montinhos da Luz on Wednesday, 5 November.

This series of events is dedicated to empowering and supporting women in business by bringing together like-minded professionals to build a strong, collaborative community where women can learn, grow, and succeed together. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic networking opportunity in a relaxed and supportive setting, complete with coffee and cakes, while savouring the serene atmosphere of Kinoah’s Buddha garden and spacious outdoor area.
The event featured International Leadership Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, and TEDx speaker, Izabella Soko, as the lead speaker. Izabella, who works internationally though based in Portugal, helps high achievers and entrepreneurs unlock their inner advantage by blending nervous system science, breathwork, and mindset coaching. Her core message emphasises that success without regulation is unsustainable.

A major takeaway highlighted was the profound link between success and embodiment. According to Izabella, our financial narratives are not merely mental beliefs; they are “patterns held in our nervous system that shape how safe we feel to receive, expand, and succeed”.
The event underscored the urgent need for expanding the local women’s business network. The success of the gathering was echoed by Hayley McKay, representing GC Partners, who conveyed her immense gratitude to all who attended and participated. “I want to convey my thanks to you all for coming to the event on Wednesday and for making it so special and unique. Each and every one of you participated wholeheartedly, so thank you for bringing your energy and wisdom”.

Editor of Tomorrow, Sophie Sadler, also addressed the event to explain that, for herself and other women in business, their ideas come from passion. “I think most women’s business journey begins with a story.”
She also highlighted the power of content and community. “Tomorrow is a community magazine for the Algarve. Deeply rooted in this community, sharing stories, news, and vital information about the people and places that make the Algarve home. Which is why business people choose to advertise with us: because we have great content. Our readers are engaged in the topics that matter most—from local history and sports to food, wildlife, and charity endeavours.”

Following discussions among attendees seeking collaboration opportunities and ways to share their work, organisers are developing a list of attendees, including their companies, trades, names, and contact details, to facilitate ongoing networking and collaboration across the group.
If you missed this fantastic session, don’t worry! Hayley confirmed that the collaborative series will continue, announcing: “I am very excited to say that our third edition will be in early 2026…. So watch this space and I will keep you all updated!”
