Get Involved! Portimão Puts Out the Call for Março Jovem 2026 Proposals
Portimão is already busy preparing for the next edition of the Março Jovem (Youth Month) programme, and the Municipality is currently working on the event’s programming. They are now welcoming contributions from the local community to help shape the highly anticipated 28th edition of this grand celebration of youth.
Who Should Get Involved?
The Municipality of Portimão is actively seeking proposals from all young people, local groups, and schools who wish to enrich this great youth festival.
As is customary, the 28th edition of the event is primarily aimed at young people aged 12 to 35. The event is scheduled to run throughout the month of March 2026, specifically from the 1st to the 31st. The local community’s commitment is essential to the programme’s success.

If you want your contribution included in the programme, time is of the essence!
All applications must be submitted by the approaching deadline of 7th January 2026.
The application process is straightforward: candidacies should be submitted via the dedicated online form on the municipal portal.
