Each initiative requires a minimum number of participants; if this number is not met, the activity may be canceled.
In the past, people used different plants to create toys, games, necklaces, and various decorative items. From the palm plant, bracelets and rings were made. This February, participants will have the chance to create rings to gift to those they love most.
“EmpreitArte” invites participants to connect through their hands, allowing them to express themselves using the palm, a plant native to the Algarve region. We will explore the “palm of our hand” through a plant that has long been part of our culture and ancestry. Each workshop results in the creation of a unique object. From the heart to the hand, and from the hand to art, the session will begin with crafting a bookmark.
