This short collection of chronicles about Mozambique, authored by Sérgio Raimundo, serves as a literary celebration of the country’s 50 years of independence. The book addresses various topics related to Mozambique with the aim of provoking thought and inviting readers to reflect on recent events in the country.
The chronicles follow, in part, the narrative approach advocated by Jorge Amado: “history should not be explained, but told.”
