MGAP Mediterranean Garden Fair 2026

Autumn Mediterranean Garden Fair 2026

The Autumn Mediterranean Garden Fair returns to FATACIL in Lagoa on 17 & 18 October 2026, celebrating 17 years of bringing together gardeners, plant lovers and Mediterranean gardening experts from across the Algarve and beyond.

With a strong focus on sustainable gardening for our Mediterranean climate, the fair is a wonderful opportunity to discover plants that thrive in hot, dry conditions, meet specialist growers and nurseries, and pick up inspiration and practical ideas for creating a beautiful, wildlife-friendly garden. There will be a wide range of plants and garden-related exhibitors, with knowledgeable experts on hand to offer advice and answer questions.

Education is at the heart of the fair, with a programme of free talks and seminars covering a range of subjects. The talks are designed to be accessible and useful whether you are an experienced gardener or just starting out.

The fair also reflects a commitment to gardening responsibly in the Algarve, with an emphasis on sustainable practices, appropriate planting and protecting the local environment. Visitors can browse, shop, learn, meet fellow garden enthusiasts and take home plenty of ideas for their own outdoor spaces.
