Infante D. Henrique Music Festival
4th Edition of the Infante D. Henrique International Music Festival and Competition | Lagos 2025
The Cultural Association Impacto Ímpar, based in Lagos, within the scope of the Infante D. Henrique International Music Festival and Competition – Lagos 2025 project (4th Edition | 22, 29, and 30 November and 6, 7, and 8 December 2025), hereby presents the aforementioned event:
The Festival will feature a series of events that are, to some extent, bold and distinctive, encompassing the artistic, educational, social, and economic dimensions of our municipality: four concerts (two at the Lagos Cultural Center and two at the Vila Galé Lagos Hotel Hall) — Landscapes of Vienna – Piano and String Quintets; Violin and Piano Duo with Roman Mints and Rem Urasin; Piano and Orchestra Concert with Ingrid Sotolarova and the Algarve Camerata; Pablo Lapidusas, Celeste Caramanna, and Nelson Faria present Desbunde! Looking for Johnny Alf — featuring musicians of international renown.
The festival opening will take place on 22 November with a musical marathon, during which various instrumentalists from several schools and universities/polytechnics connected to specialized music education across the Iberian Peninsula will perform works dedicated to Romantic-period composers, at various venues throughout the municipality of Lagos:
- 10:00 – Odiáxere Church
- 11:30 – Barão de São João Church
- 14:30 – Bensafrim Church
- 16:00 – Luz Church
These events are free of charge.
At 19:00, at the Lagos Cultural Center, to conclude the marathon, we will present Landscapes of Vienna – Piano and String Quintets. Tickets for this event will be available for purchase on BOL.
