Festival Mar Me Quer Returns to Portimão with Four Days of Magical Performances
The Festival Mar Me Quer returns to TEMPO – Portimão Municipal Theatre for four days of unmissable performances between December 12 and 17.
This Winter edition offers a programme designed to delight audiences of all ages, featuring two children’s theatre shows and two intimate concerts aimed at energising the Algarve city during the low season.
December 12 at 6:30 p.m.
On December 12 at 6:30 p.m., TEMPO’s Small Auditorium transforms into a true Christmas tale with “A Festa de Natal – Mickey & Friends”, a show filled with humour and surprises that promises to warm hearts and bring festive magic to children and adults alike.
Amid lights, music and laughter, Mickey and his friends decorate the tree, sing the season’s most enchanting songs and discover that the true spirit of Christmas lies in friendship, togetherness and sharing.
December 13 at 4:00 p.m.
The following day, December 13 at 4:00 p.m., the Small Auditorium once again comes to life with “Os Monstros das Emoções” (“The Emotion Monsters”).
Colourful, interactive and full of surprises, this charming performance invites the audience to help build the magical Emotion Christmas Tree, which only lights up when each monster reveals their most heartfelt wish.
Through laughter, discoveries and shared moments, the Monsters learn that the real magic of Christmas lies in friendship, joy and being together.

On December 16 at 9:00 p.m., the Grand Auditorium hosts “Concerto para Dois” with Ana Cosme, Jorge Baptista da Silva and Natalia Kuznetsova.
In a special evening where Christmas melodies take centre stage, the lyrical singer and the fado vocalist join forces for an intimate and unforgettable musical journey across genres such as opera, musical theatre, fado and Neapolitan song, accompanied on piano by the talented Natalia Kuznetsova.
December 17 at 9:00 p.m.
Bringing this special programme to a close, on December 17 at 9:00 p.m., the Grand Auditorium welcomes artist Miguel Gameiro, founding vocalist of the band Pólo Norte and solo performer since 2010.
In an intimate, emotion-filled concert, he revisits the greatest hits of his career in a show celebrating Portuguese music.

Children’s performances, open to all ages, take place in the Small Auditorium with tickets priced at €12.50, while musical concerts cost €10.00 and are held in the Grand Auditorium.
