Exhibition “Horizons of Hope”

Organized by the Lighthouse Portugal project of the Vale da Bênção Community — an initiative dedicated to illuminating lives through solidarity, education, and service — this charitable photography exhibition emerges as the result of missions carried out in Portugal, Zanzibar, Thailand, and Angola.

Through the sensitive lens of photographer Breno de Araújo, each image tells real stories of communities that face poverty and profound challenges on a daily basis.

More than portraying hardship, the photographs invite viewers to reflect on their own privilege and serve as a reminder that we all have a role to play in bringing hope, love, and dignity to those most in need.

The images capture encounters with diverse cultures, the coexistence of pain and beauty, and the transformation that unfolds when one chooses to serve. Each gaze, each face, and each landscape reveals that even amid suffering, there remains room for the light of hope.
