10th Algarve Granfondo

The Algarve Granfondo is an open long-distance cycling event with a single stage, mass start, mostly free pace (at least 95% of the route), time limit, and unofficial ranking.
The race will start next to Lagos Municipal Stadium and finish on Avenida dos Descobrimentos around 2:00 PM.

Eligible participants include licensed competitive cyclists, members of the “Cycling for All” category, and non-licensed riders, aged 19 or older for the Granfondo (born in 2007 or earlier) and 17 or older for the Mediofondo (born in 2009 or earlier).

Race details:

Granfondo: approximately 130 km with 2,000 m of cumulative elevation;

Mediofondo: approximately 90 km with 1,300 m of cumulative elevation;

Group start with controlled pace for the first 2 km, followed by free pace;

Maximum race time: 5h30, with control closing at 2:00 PM.
