Lagos Municipality has approved the Sports Support Programme (PAD) for the 2026/2027 sports season, aiming to back local sports associations and promote athletic development across the municipality.
For this new season, the municipality has pledged a global investment of 2,510,510 euros, consisting of 1,760,510 euros in current expenditure and 750,000 euros in capital expenditure. The programme offers both financial and non-financial assistance, including the free use of municipal sports facilities, free transport, and logistical support.
Applications are open from 1 September to 15 October 2026. Interested organizations must submit their applications through the municipality’s dedicated online platform. Approved applicants with validated submissions will also be eligible for an initial advance payment under the programme guidelines.
