8ª Walk and Art Fest

Kicking off another season of the Algarve Walking Season, this event offers entertainment that combines the pleasure of walking outdoors, an interest in nature, reflection on environmental issues, the promotion of historical and cultural heritage, and wellness activities.

But, what most distinguishes Walk and Art Fest from other festivals is the component of artistic creation and enjoyment. Walks, workshops, activities for children and wellness, mountain biking, poetry, documentary screenings, musical performances and the distinctive art installations complete a programme that is not to be missed.

The conference ‘Hiking: nature preservation & safety’, will be held on 7 November, between 9.30 am and 1 pm, in the A Paragem building, with a panel of renowned speakers and moderation by journalist Elisabete Rodrigues.
