Revolution is brewing on the stage of Sociedade Vencedora do Portimonense this November.
O que vamos fazer com a revolta? (What Are We Going to Do About the Revolt?) is an innovative adaptation of the literary classic Animal Farm by George Orwell. The show, a shared effort by the group Lavrar o Mar and Teatro Gaveta, aims to highlight and question the dynamics and hierarchy of power, focusing not only on the oppressors but mainly on the oppressed.
O Que Vamos Fazer com a Revolta opens on 21 November for schools, with shows for the general public over the weekend of 22–23 November at the stage of Sociedade Vencedora Portimonense in Portimão.
Tickets are 5€ and can be bought online at bol.pt or FNAC, in the ticket office of Portimão Arena, TEMPO, or the Museu Municipal de Portimão.
