Films & Beer
Tuesday 14 October
19:00 – 20:30
And every month after!
Each month we pick a film, watch it in our own time, then meet up over beers to chat about it together – just good films and good company.
This is your chance to meet new friends and have informal conversations about our selected film, all while enjoying a beer/soft drink. Each month, we’ll choose a new film together.
Our first film club is on Tuesday 14 October and our first film will be Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel”.
In the 1930s, The Grand Budapest Hotel is a popular European ski resort, presided over by concierge M. Gustave. Zero Moustafa, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave’s friend and protégé. Gustave prides himself on providing first-class service to the hotel’s guests, including satisfying the needs of the many elderly women who stay there. When one of them dies mysteriously, Gustave finds himself the recipient of a priceless painting and the chief suspect in her murder.
