About Us

Welcome to Tomorrow Algarve

Founded by long-time Lagos resident Tom Henshaw, Tomorrow started life in 2011 as a four-page publication. With the aim of uniting the local community via a monthly newsletter in Lagos and the western Algarve, it featured news, events and useful features, as well as shining a light on good causes. Since then the title has gone from strength to strength, evolving into the much-loved and (at its largest) 92-page magazine that it is today.

Above and beyond connecting the local community through the pages of our magazines, the team at Tomorrow also make giving back a priority. We are always keen to support worthwhile campaigns, and over the years we have helped set up a cancer support group, a business networking organisation, a choir and drama group, and ‘Loose Ends’, a monthly get-together for anyone who ever feels a tinge of loneliness here on the Algarve.

Through our annual Summer and Christmas Balls, as well as various fundraising initiatives, we have also proudly donated money to organisations including Lagos Soup Kitchen, Make a Wish Foundation Portugal and local charity NECI, which supports people with learning and physical disabilities, to name but a few.

Tomorrow’s success is all down to our loyal and enthusiastic readers, our valued and supportive advertisers, our network of local contributors and a fantastic team. Meet the latter below…
